Liam Payne kicked off GMA’s Summer Concert Series in Central Park this morning (May 15) with a little help from J Balvin. The Brit performed his hit single, “Strip That Down,” as well as his new collaboration with the Colombian hitmaker. After their rendition of “Familiar,” the duo did a couple of interviews and, somewhat surprisingly, spilled a lot of tea. For starters, the former One Direction star’s debut album finally has a release date. “It is out on the 14th of September, I can tell you that much,” he revealed.

“I’m really happy with it, it’s come out really nice.” Liam also spoke about rediscovering old songs that he had forgotten recording and collaborating with different artists. “I’ve got a good mix of beautiful people on my album, which is amazing.” In a separate Q&A with the GMA hosts, the 24-year-old promised that a 1D reunion isn’t completely off the cards. “I’m sure there’s time for that to come back around,” he said. “And the more success we have on our own, the more success we’re going to have together in the future.”
