Liam Payne teases his debut single in a sexy, shirtless video teaser.

It’s official! Liam Payne will kick off his solo career next Friday (May 19) with a single called “Strip That Down.” The hip-hop banger features a verse from Quavo (one third of Migos) and was reportedly penned by Ed Sheeran. The 23-year-old is promoting the track with a radio tour and shirtless teaser videos. Given the title and the general lack of clothing, it’s fair to assume that the Brit has sex on the brain. Which means that he’s veering into the same territory as Zayn Malik’s “Pillowtalk.” May the best man win.

Interestingly, Quavo has already spilled a little tea about the song. “I just came from a video today,” he said to Capital XTRA DJ Tim Westwood. “My boy Liam from One Direction. We just shot that. Crazy vid. Crazy visuals. Crazy team. Cool guy, nice guy. It’s going up. I wasn’t even supposed to say that.” The new dad has also been working with Zedd. “To be honest, we met a little while ago and we did a song,” the DJ revealed, “not knowing if it would be for him or me, we just wanted to make music together.” Watch Liam’s announcement video below.
