Ariana Grande is not slowing down anytime soon. The 25-year-old is currently in the midst of promoting her current album, Sweetener, and another is on the way. We got our first taste of the new material over the weekend with the release of “thank u, next.” A tribute to her exes, it has been an absolute smash. Since debuting Saturday (November 3), the anthem has amassed more than 29 million streams on Spotify and conquered US iTunes. If things continue at this pace, it may be on track to become the pop princess’ first number one single. Today Ari gave it yet another boost with a performance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Joined by co-writers Victoria Monét and Tayla Parx, the trio brought the song to life with a lively set.

Dressed in all-white everything, Ari revealed the performance was inspired by the 1996 film, The First Wives Club. Transforming the stage into a wedding reception, the pint-sized diva and her collaborators put on quite the show. And there is no doubt that she was totally live. After hopping off a chair, the “God Is A Woman” hitmaker let out a gasp and an audible “oh my God” as she tripped. However, the pro laughed it off and didn’t miss a step for the rest of the performance. As it came to a close, the trio tossed on jackets and danced through the audience to a round of applause. That’s not all for the day though. Rumor has it that a performance of her other single, “Breathin,” is on the way. Fans are expecting the latter’s music video to surface as well.

Watch her perform “thank u, next” below and keep an eye peeled for footage from her “Breathin” performance. We’ll add it to the post once it becomes available.
