Madonna & Miley Cyrus Collaboration?
The two get chummy again online. Is there a pair-up in the works?

Madonna has yet to do any major promo for her upcoming album Rebel Heart, other than a racy cover spread for Interview magazine, plus a few interviews when a slew of songs from the project initially leaked — and, well, expressing joy online over some of these — so what better event than the Grammys to showcase what else the Material Girl has in the works for her 13th LP?

The singer first hinted at a possible Grammys performance during a chat with Billboard the other week: “Yes, that would be wonderful. That’s possibly something that’s gonna happen.” Now Hits Daily Double has thrown more fuel onto that particular fire.

“Nothing official yet, but the word from sources in inside the Recording Academy is that AC/DC, Madonna and U2 have been booked to perform on the Grammys,” the site notes in its “Rumor Mill” column today.

If U2 do perform, it would be the band’s first time since frontman Bono sustained what sounded like some nasty injuries during a biking accident in New York’s Central Park last month.

And as for Madonna, if she indeed takes the stage at the big music biz shindig, it would mark her first Grammys performance since 2006, when she belted out “Hung Up” during a mash-up performance of that song and Gorillaz‘s “Feel Good Inc.”

Would you tune in to watch Madonna’s first big TV performance since the 2012 Super Bowl?
