MGK & Camila Cabello Perform Their Cringeworthy Song On ‘Ellen’
I thought 2016 was bad, but this year is shaping up to be even worse with Trump’s #MuslimBan and Machine Gun Kelly & Camila Cabello polluting the airwaves. Listen, I get it. “Bad Things” is catchy. Whoever came up with the idea of interpolating Fastball’s “Out Of My Head” deserves a raise, but the song is irredeemable. From MGK’s corny ass rap (“losing our religion, you’re my pretty little vixen”) to the former Fifth Harmony diva’s insipid vocals, this is empty, soulless garbage.
The terrible twosome brought their smash to The Ellen DeGeneres Show today (January 30) and it sounds even worse live. They have no chemistry or energy, and look awkward as hell on stage. It boggles the mind that Camila has been pegged as the Beyonce of Fifth Harmony. There are some incredible people working on her solo album, so maybe I’m missing something. I’ll try to keep an open mind, but this performance doesn’t bode well. Watch up top if you want to be really sad about life.
