Remy Ma Talks Nicki Minaj Beef
The veteran rapper explains why she recorded "Shether," while dressed for a funeral.

Update: Nicki could be dropping three new tracks tonight according to this Instagram post.

Nicki Minaj has been doing her fair share of music lately. Last month she appeared on two major singles, “Bom Bidi Bom” with Nick Jonas for Fifty Shades Darker, and Jason Derulo‘s “Swalla” with Ty Dolla $ign. Yet it feels like an eternity has passed since “Shether,” the blistering Remy Ma diss track that was the result of a years-long beef. Ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels has commented on the matter. Remy Ma has even said that in retrospect, she “isn’t particularly proud” of “Shether.” But if recent reports are any indication, we may finally hear a response of sorts from Nicki.

According to Justin Credible, DJ at Power 106 FM, Nicki is releasing new music tomorrow: “Maybe it’s a diss record, maybe it’s not.” Music journalist Sowmya Krishnamurthy had even more intel from “a good source,” saying that the song is reportedly called “Frauds” and Young Money compatriots Lil Wayne and Drake are featured. “Per my source, new Nicki Minaj record is her single,” she says. “She doesn’t go directly at Remy Ma but there’s subliminals. I have not heard the track.”

At this point, not even Remy seems all that interested in hearing a response. But it should be interesting to see whether Nicki even addresses what happened. See what has been reported of Nicki’s new song below.
