Noah Cyrus & MAX's 'Team'
Two rising pop stars come together for a catchy new single called 'Team.'

Noah Cyrus is nothing if not prolific. Hot on the heels of “Lately,” a duet with Tanner Alexander, comes “Live Or Die” — a collaboration with real-life boyfriend, Lil Xan. “On our way to the sky, we’re gonna look down on tonight,” the budding pop star coos on the pre-chorus. “When we die, you and I, two heartbreak soldiers.” That dramatic, loved-up tone is echoed in the rapper’s verses. “If I’m religious, you’re the one that I believe in,” he declares. “You’ve been here with me to help me fight all my demons.”

Think of it as the emo “03 Bonnie & Clyde” or the slightly mellower “Him & I.” It will be interesting to see if this is the song that connects for Noah. Since breaking out with “Make Me (Cry),” she has been searching for her sound — experimenting with pop/rock (the absurdly underrated “Stay Together”), acoustic pop (“Team”) and hip-hop (the XXXTentacion-assisted “Again”). As for Lil Xan, he recently dropped a video for his collaboration with Charli XCX, so he’s looking for a crossover hit. Listen to “Live Or Die” below.
