With his mastery of melody on full display, hitmaker Brian Kennedy stepped out from the studio for a rare live performance last night, taking center stage at the Roxy and leading his Brian Kennedy Project through a stream of songs spanning pop, jazz, funk and blues. Kennedy helped kick off our cool new video series, and he had assistance from some amazing surprise guests, including Natasha Bedingfield, Nikki Flores, Kristinia DeBarge, Josephine and his new protege, rapper Chief Wakil, who brought the house down with his version of “Eleanor Rigby”.
