Unlike some people, Chris Daughtry has a laid-back attitude when it comes to the video for his comeback single “No Surprise” leaking before its scheduled premiere on VH1 tomorrow: “So apparently…No Surprise video leaked out on YouTube. Oh the joys of the Internet…oh well, enjoy:),” he said-slash-emoticoned on his Twitter an hour ago. Of course, one might argue that the difference between West’s reaction and Daughtry’s is based at least a bit in the difference between a Roy Lichtenstein original and a black-velvet painting of Nickelback, but it’s nice to see that the latter’s blasé attitude has at least resulted in a relatively rapid response from his label, who’ll be breaking the VH1 embargo “shortly,” apparently.
