While Daughtry’s sophomore album Leave This Town didn’t quite spark a breakout single after its July release, Irish quartet Westlife are keeping the rock band’s back catalog somewhat alive overseas with their cover of “What About Now.” The boy band’s rendition peaked at #2 in the U.K. a couple weeks back, held from the top by Girls Aloud’s Cheryl Cole, with her debut solo tune, “Fight For This Love.” More »

First, Lil Wayne has canceled a few Canadian stops on his summer tour because of an unnamed illness; his jaunt with Young Jeezy, Soulja Boy, Pleasure P, and Jeremih will resume with Thursday’s date at the Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Denver. Meanwhile, American Idol grunger Chris Daughtry has announced via Twitter that he’s been diagnosed with viral laryngitis, and has been forced to postpone tonight’s show in Tempe, Ariz.
