We’ve been a bit moody this week, detailing the major fails of pop music in 2010 — which includes these 10 terrible album covers. We don’t want to be an office full of Scrooges so close to Christmas, though, so we decided to focus on the positive and pick what we thought were the 10 Best Album Covers from the past year. And congrats to Kanye, who appears on both our Best and Worst Cover Art list! As if he hadn’t already received enough accolades this year. More »

One glance at the bill for this year’s V Festival, and it’s easy to see how the annual double venue music spectacular sold out in a mere 90 minutes. From Elly Jackson’s giant black druid-esque hood, to Kate Nash‘s fringed unitard, the theme for the festival’s second day seemed to be “Outrageous Outfits”. None of the artists, however, could compare to Goldfrapp‘s bizarre —but wonderful—jacket that looked as though it was made from discarded VHS tapes. Flip through to see Lissie, Florence And The Machine, Mika, The Temper Trap and more highlights from the V Festival. More »
