When New Found Glory and Paramore pulled into Nashville this weekend, there was one local fan who just couldn’t contain her excitement: Taylor Swift. The pop starlett tweeted, “My dancing shoes are ON. Why, you ask? Paramore and New Found Glory! Nashville!! SCREAM!!” We haven’t seen Taylor this excited since Toby Hemingway “popped the question” in her music video “Mine”. Had there been a roof on Mansfield’s Comcast Center, Hayley Williams would surely have blown it completely off. The “Airplanes” songbird joined by her band Paramore recently gave a rip-roaring performance as part of the Honda Civic Tour. Donning another handmade “Brand New Eyes” tank top, black skirt, and stacks of beaded bracelets, the Paramore frontwoman brought the biggest cheers of the night when she sang the band’s Twilight Soundtrack hit, ““Decode”. Last night, Paramore helped kick off the four day Rosklide Festival in Denmark. Dressed in a wife-beater tank top with “Brand New Eyes” (the band’s new album title) Sharpied across the front, the pint-sized punk pop singer jumped about the stage; her firey orange hair flopping every which way. Paramore played its first Bamboozle in 2005, so this weekend’s headlining performance felt every bit like a homecoming for the Tennesee pop-punk powerhouse.
