The little “Fireball” was seen shopping in New York’s SoHo neighborhood yesterday while sporting the eye-catching, Yohji Yamamoto-designed footwear. According to sneaker company, the “cleverly sculpted and futuristic heel cushions impact and boosts energy return”. (Whatever that means.) Of course, being the hippest kid on the playground doesn’t come cheap, a pair of these black and yellow babies run around $690. The BET Honors were held last night, and as expected, it was an R&B star-studded affair. On the guest list were two-thirds of Destiny’s Child, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams (hmm, we wonder what could have happened to keep Beyonce at home?), along with Willow Smith, Stevie Wonder, and someone named Michelle Obama (maybe she’s a new artist?). BET tributed Mariah Carey for her still-thriving career, which saw Mimi bringing husband Nick Cannon to the stage (glad he’s feeling better!) along with young Moroccan to meet the First Lady. More »
Last night Willow Smith unleashed a “Fireball” on BET’s 106 & Park, but this morning the hair-whipping whippersnapper was further uptown blazing through the aisles at Target. In support of the Boys And Girls Club, the recent Idolator interviewee helped families shop for holiday essentials at the discount chain.
