Taylor Swift Probably Shot Another ‘Reputation’ Video In London
Taylor Swift sure seems to be making the most of her trip to London. The 27-year-old ostensibly traveled across the pond to host a Reputation listening party for some of her biggest fans, but it looks like she also shot a music video on the city streets. Fans have been sharing pictures from what appears to be a video shoot, and speculation is fierce that it is for the LP’s forthcoming second single.
The pictures show the “Out of the Woods” hitmaker rocking a variety of looks and shooting in the backseat of a car. She also appears to have grabbed some footage walking across a bridge and reportedly hosted a dance party in a double-decker bus. She ended the night with a stop at a local kebab shop for one last scene, raising all sorts of questions about what to expect when the project is finally released.
The visual is rumored to be shot by Taylor’s frequent collaborator Joseph Kahn. She most recently worked with the 45-year-old director on the chaotic visual for “Look What You Made Me Do.” The duo also shot a quartet of videos for her 1989 era, and Kahn has developed a bit of a reputation for being very protective of his muse. After the release of their last collaboration he came for all of Taylor’s naysayers. He most notably dragged Beyonce and her fans for drawing comparisons between the video and Bey’s videography.
“Look What You Made Me Do” is still sitting comfortably in the top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, but it has not been the whirlwind success fans have come to expect from a Taylor Swift release. The project’s first buzz track, “…Ready For It,” also failed to make a massive impact. Hopefully whatever she’s got up her sleeve this time is more in line with the pristine pop confections that made her last era one of the most successful in recent history. Check out some pictures from the shoot below.
