Tove Lo winds up the 'Lady Wood' era with 21-minute 'Fire Fade' video.

“Disco Tits” is the delightfully-titled lead single from Tove Lo’s third album, Blue Lips. Sonically, it picks up where Lady Wood left off — with a throbbing banger produced by The Struts. Visually, the Swedish provocateur is still in the mood to shock. But there’s a lightness to this new era. Directed by Tim Erem, the pop star’s latest video sends up the soulless music industry and involves lashings of puppet sex. It begins with Tove sleep-walking her way during an interview before driving off with the host.

From there, it’s a Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas scenario — with a muppet. They drive into the desert (Tove’s furry friend kindly goes down on her), have an argument at a diner over BBQ sauce (honestly, condiments are important) and then do party drugs. That’s when things get really sexy. As surreal as it is, the video fits the theme of the song. “[It’s] about losing yourself with your new found love,” she explained. “Naive, excited, no consequences. The happiness in the haze I’m feelin right now.” Watch the action up top.

oh mama you can relax, i know how to dial it back (not this time) #discotits 🎬 #soon @timerem
