Shawn Mendes Plots September Album Release
New music by Shawn Mendes is about to arrive. In a new interview, he says that his sophomore album will be released this fall. “After we finish [touring] in Europe, we’re going to head to America to do the big American tour, and then release a new single and then an album in September,” Shawn said to Oslo radio station NRK MP3.
Shawn is currently on the road for his 2015 debut Handwritten. And while touring, he has been teasing and playing new songs live, like the bluesy, John Mayer-inspired “Ruin.” That, along with his Camila Cabello duet “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” show how he is maturing at a much faster pace than anyone expected with his first top 5 hit “Stitches.”
