Usher isn’t taking any chances. Today (June 10), he released his second single this week.

“No Limit” is for rap heads, with its Master P references and Young Thug verse. But “Crash” is more so geared for Hot 100 success. It features lower-key dance production by f a l l e n and Carlos St. John. In fact, it belongs on the same rooftop party playlist as Drake‘s “One Dance” and Justin Bieber‘s “Sorry.” But Usher still manages to distinguish himself from everyone else. He begins by singing in falsetto: “Would you mind if I still loved you? Would you mind if things don’t last?” Like with “Climax,” this R&B vet makes such vocal prowess — and vulnerability — seem easy.

Listen to “Crash” below.
