The annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is one of the biggest crossover events between music and fashion. This year was no exception. Filmed in New York City last month, the eye-popping extravaganza was broadcast on ABC yesterday (November 2). Featuring appearances from the likes of Bebe Rexha, Rita Ora, Halsey, Shawn Mendes and more, it was a particularly star-studded year. And the performances were one better than the next. With rain falling down around her, the Phoenix hitmaker worked her way through her current single, “Let You Love Me.” In comparison, Shawn’s rendition of “Lost In Japan” was a sunny affair.

Dressed in a svelte suit, the “Youth” crooner’s anthem was set off by vibrant floral looks on the models. Bebe kept things flirty in a neon pink outfit while performing “I’m A Mess.” The Expectations diva’s voice was predictably strong, and she served the utmost confidence while bopping along the runway. The Chainsmokers and Kelsea Ballerini brought the heat for a stellar version of “This Feeling.” Meanwhile, The Struts and Leela James also delivered must-see sets. However, Halsey’s rendition of “Without Me” was one of the biggest moments of the evening. The hitmaker nabbed even more headlines by hopping on Instagram to comment on some controversial statements made by VS’ Chief Marketing Officer Ed Razek.

“I have adored the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show since I was young,” she wrote. “However, after I filmed the performance, some comments were made regarding the show that I simply cannot ignore. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I have no tolerance for a lack of inclusivity. Especially not one motivated by stereotype.” Halsey proceeded to direct fans to GLSEN, an anti-bullying organization. Watch the performances below!
