Zara Larsson’s “Ruin My Life” Remixed By Steve James & Ashworth
Zara Larsson is well on her way to landing another global smash with “Ruin My Life.” The lead single from ZL2 has already racked up more than 56 million streams on Spotify in just over a month and is charting across Europe. As for America? The Monsters And The Strangerz-produced bop is off to a slower start, but it’s steadily gaining ground on pop radio. With a full rollout (performances, interviews etc.) still to come, “Ruin My Life” could end up being a “Never Forget You”-sized hit.
It will get an added boost by the arrival of a remix package. Steve James leads the way with a dreamy, weekend radio-geared overhaul that showcases the musicality of his own releases (“Renaissance” is still that song). NYC’s Ashworth knows a thing or two about remixes after going viral with versions of Maroon 5’s “Cold” and Shawn Mendes’ “Treat You Better.” This is another winner.
