New York City Arcade Fire Fans Rush To Debase Themselves On Craigslist

Tickets to the Arcade Fire’s five-night string of shows at New York City’s Judson Memorial Church sold out almost immediately after they went on sale this morning, sending bloggers into despair and fans with burnable disposable income to Craigslist. One enterprising (or cruel) insider who somehow snagged his tickets a week ago decided to hold a contest to give them away:

Any way here goes–I have tix for all 5 NYC sows [sic] at Judson–they are not for sale–I want to give away 2-3 pairs to real fans. These are not for sale–I want somone to just tell me why they love the band.

The offer didn’t get any responses until this morning, when out-of-luck fans realized that there was no way in hell they were going to get a ticket without foregoing their rent payments for the next month. And now, the race is on:
