“Chinese Democracy” Is (Maybe, Possibly, Inconceivably) Only A Month Away!

Remember last December, when Axl Rose made a big noise about how Guns N’ Roses’ Chinese Democracy would be out on March 6? Well, that date is only a month away, and unless Democracy is being promoted via top-secret word-of-mouth viral-marketing, we’re guessing this thing isn’t coming out anytime soon: There’s no Amazon listing, no promo copies making the rounds, and no pre-orders on the iTunes store. In fact, the only hint that the March date is still being held is this pre-order listing on U.K. retail site CD-WOW, which promises the following tracks:

* Better * Catcher in the Rye * Chinese Democracy * I.R.S. * If The World * Madagascar * Prostitute * Sorry * The Blues * There Was A Time * Rhiad and the Bedouins * Oh My God * Silk Worms * Ides of March * Leave Me Alone * ** Provisional Tracklisting **

We were suspicious, too, until a fan pointed out that “**Provisional Tracklisting**” has a gnarly Buckethead solo. We’re guessing this thing is never happening, but if you have any further Chinese intelligence to spare, drop us a line at , and prove us wrong.
