Lil Wayne’s Rebirth is apparently so not “on fire” that—sigh—it’s been pushed back yet again. Entertainment Weekly‘s Music Mix notes that Weezy’s supposed set of rock jams is now coming out at some point next year.

Last month Rebirth got a slight release-date bump from December 15 to December 21. Initially the album was set to drop this past April. Actually, it feels like the album was supposed to be out at some point during every month this year.

Billboard notes that Cash Money label boss Brian “Birdman” Williams recently fired off a tweet saying Rebirth will see the light of day on February 1, 2010. There’s no confirmation of that date being set in stone—though, really, like it would matter if it was.

On the flip side, Young Money’s debut We Are Young Money—which was originally set to be double-packaged with Wayne’s Rebirth—is still set for a December 21 release, says Birdman.
