The Black Eyed Peas are true to their word. When a lightning storm canceled their June gig in Central Park, the BEP came back as promised to perform a free live show for 60,000 fans in the Great Lawn. The weather in New York City last Friday evening was clear of lightning — though the group wasn’t lucky enough to finish their set before it started to rain. “Aint nothing wrong with a little bit of rain,” quipped will.i.am, proving that the Peas are anything but RIP.
