Marina & The Diamonds Premieres ‘Wedding Bells’ Film For “State Of Dreaming”: Watch
Marina & The Diamonds‘ brilliant single “How To Be A Heartbreaker” doesn’t seem to have picked up at radio (despite our best hopes for it!), so she’s smartly turned her attention toward more artistic matters: Currently, it’s all about the short film she helped create in collaboration with a host of other creatives, including fashion designer Hasan Hejazi (who created her dress), photographer Tim Bret Day (who shot the campaign) and director Thomas Knight (who helmed the clip). Whew!
The film, entitled “Wedding Bells,” sees Marina sporting a couture gown during a lavishly colorful wedding ceremony set to her Electra Heart track “State Of Dreaming.” It serves as a reminder of why Marina’s high-concept aesthetic made the Electra Heart so dazzling — and why we don’t want to see it end.
