Britney’s 1998 single, produced by hitmaker Max Martin, came off the singer’s debut album of the same name. It was then — and it is now — considered a classic pop number, hitting #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and selling huge amounts. But it might surprise you to recall that “…Baby One More Time” didn’t nab the Best Female Pop Vocal Performance Grammy it was nominated for, nor did Spears win Best New Artist.
