Nicki Minaj Unveils “Pills N Potions” Single Artwork
Nicki Minaj is set to conquer the world with her long awaited album, The Pink Print, and last night while everyone was consumed by the Billboard Music Awards, she revealed the single artwork for lead single “Pills N Potions,” which will drop on Wednesday (May 21). For the image, she’s donning a pair of bunny ears (perhaps, combined with the title, suggesting an Alice In Wonderland theme?), but the fun look is a far cry from her Harajuku Barbie days.
The song will follow a string of killer rap tracks that Minaj has released this year, including “Chi-Raq” and “Yasss Bish” and if her interviews are to be believed, “Pills” and the rest of the album should continue down this hip-hop route. “I think I kind of had to start from scratch, almost reintroduce myself, again,” she said over the weekend. “I know people know me. I wanted to remind them of where I came from.”
