Duff had released two lead singles from her comeback album so far: “Chasing the Sun,” the breezy and innocent ode to summer co-written by Colbie Caillat; and “All About You,” a sassier and punchier pop anthem by hitmakers Savan Kotecha, Carl Falk and Kristian Lundin. Both songs helped to show the folkier bent that Duff had in mind for her return, following 2007′s underrated Dignity, while inspired by groups like Mumford & Sons and The Lumineers.her 2004 debut Metamorphosis. “Once I started getting into the studio and being more hands-on with the music I was making, I was a little embarrassed by Metamorphosis,” she said to Idolator at the time. “But I don’t feel that way now. So many people were connected by this. It put me on a map with my music, and they are good pop songs.”
