Mary J Blige And Disclosure Team Up For “Right Now”: Listen

Mary J Blige gave us all a wonderful surprise earlier this year when she hopped on a remix of Disclosure‘s “F For You” out of nowhere. The legendary R&B diva evidently had fun working with the duo, because she went right back in the studio with them to craft some cuts for her upcoming record The London Sessions.

The forthcoming LP, which was recorded alongside Naughty Boy, Jimmy Napes, Rodney Jerkins and Sam Smith, is essentially Mary’s own love letter to the London music scene, which is currently swimming in early ’90’s-inspired House pulsations and soulful powerhouse vocals.

“Right Now” is the first taste of the songstress’ thirteenth studio album and, from the sound of it, she’s giving us the perfect fusion of R&B and House we were hoping for: The track plays like a seamless fusion between the two acts, as Mary melodically coos above Disclosure’s signature shuffling beats and dramatic strings.

“No, I won’t play this game!” she declares on the empowering throbber. Listen to “Right Now” after the jump.
