Yesterday (January 21), news broke that an Israeli hacker was arrested for reportedly stealing Madonna‘s personal computer and leaking the Rebel Heart demos. According to Facebook, the singer is very pleased about the situation! She posted a message to her fans on the social media site, stating “I am profoundly grateful to the FBI, the Israeli Police investigators and anyone else who helped lead to the arrest of this hacker.”

Madge went on to thank her fans for providing information about the leak and stressed the importance of her rights to privacy. Now that all of the hacking drama is over with, she can now focus on properly promoting Rebel Heart! Madonna is set to perform at both the 57th annual Grammys and the 2015 BRITs in support of the LP, which releases on March 10. Read the singer’s full statement after the jump.

“I am profoundly grateful to the FBI, the Israeli Police investigators and anyone else who helped lead to the arrest of this hacker. I deeply appreciate my fans who have provided us with pertinent information and continue to do so regarding leaks of my music. Like any citizen, I have the right to privacy. This invasion into my life – creatively, professionally, and personally remains a deeply devastating and hurtful experience, as it must be for all artists who are victims of this type of crime.” -Madonna
