TLC's ‘FanMail’ Turns 15
Idolator takes a look back at TLC's massively successful 1999 studio album.

It’s safe to say that TLC is meant to be, because the group has already fully funded the Kickstarter to craft their fifth and final studio album in just two days.

The legendary troupe has been making headlines everywhere this week, from announcing their album’s Kickstarter to their upcoming tour with New Kids On The Block and Nelly, to Katy Perry‘s generous contribution to their campaign. And it all paid off (literally), because the group now reached their $150,000 goal to work on their last album — and broke a Kickstarter record in the process.

“I get off the plane 2 find out not only did we reach our goal but we’re the fastest MOST FUNDED POP PROJECT IN #KICKSTARTER HISTORY! Thx,” T-Boz tweeted last evening. “Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who donated to our campaign!! Xx We are thrilled to have so much love and support from fans! It means so much!” the girls also wrote on the official TLC account.

And now, the real work begins. Are you excited to hear what TLC cooks up in the studio? Sound off in the comments below.
