Fifth Harmony's debut LP 'Reflection' is streaming in full ahead of its February 3 release.

While Harmonizers are still crying, shaking and coming to grips with the fact that Fifth Harmony‘s debut LP Reflection is streaming in full ahead of its official February 3 release date, Lambs are processing the girl band’s interpolation of “Always Be My Baby” on “Like Mariah.” How did the most-anticipated song on the album turn out? Well, it’s a cute bop that pays Mimi and her legendary vocals the respect they deserve.

“Your lovin’ takes me higher, you set my heart on fire,” the ladies sing over the unmistakeable beat of “Always Be My Baby.” They then reference one of the diva’s biggest hits: “When you touch my body, go me singin’ like Mariah.” There’s also a surprisingly retro verse from Tyga, who name-checks both the Elusive Chanteuse and, randomly, Aaliyah. The end-result is a track that successfully taps into the summery urban-pop vibe of Butterfly-era Mimi. Listen after the jump.
