Iggy Azalea confirmed that her much-hyped collaboration with Britney Spears is still going ahead. The femcee jumped on Twitter last night (February 2) to clear up rumors that she had been axed from the pop icon’s comeback single for prematurely announcing the unlikely union. “Insiders are always really OUTsiders with misinformation,” she tweeted concerned fans. “This couldn’t be further from the truth. Get ready.”

When pressed for further information, the “Black Widow” hitmaker held her tongue. “There are pretty epic plans underway for the song that’s all I’ll say,” she tweeted mysteriously. This is good news for Iggy. Being cut from Britney’s single/album would be extremely embarrassing — particularly when she broke the news. It will be interesting to see when the single is released given that she is about to drop “Trouble” as the second single from Reclassified.
