After generating serious buzz as the voice of Kygo’s global hit “Stole The Show,” Parson James has signed to RCA Records. The 21-year-old singer/songwriter imbues the Norwegian DJ’s club anthem with a soulfulness usually foreign to EDM, which promises great things for his own material. The Cheraw, South Carolina native specializes in gospel, soul and pop — so don’t expect another floorfiller.

“I am so thrilled to be a part of such an iconic label and looking forward to a long and fruitful future with the incredible team at RCA Records,” Parson said of his signing. The newcomer is already off to an impressive start. “Stole The Show” has topped the charts across Scandinavia and racked up 50 million streams on Spotify.
