The cast hand-jived through the Fox hit!

Here’s some oddball Azealia Banks news to kick off your Monday! The artist nabbed a few spots in our Most WTF Moments and Best Music Shade-Fests lists last year, and now she is ringing in this new month with two attention-grabbing headlines.

The first is the announcement of Slay-Z (cue the Beyhive buzzing!), a mixtape that will feature eight tracks and “one bonus track from FANTASEA II the second wave.” Along with that will come the Diana Ross-inspired “The Big Big Beat,” a Detroit house tune set to drop on February 7. This project serves as the follow-up to Azealia’s impressive Broke With Expensive Taste album (released November 2014). But that’s not all!

The rapstress also shared with fans her stance on the impending U.S. elections, tweeting “Ok so, I think I’m ready to admit that I’m going to vote for Donald Trump.” She continued, “I think Trump is the only one who truly has the balls to bust up big business. Hilary is too tied in with them and Bernie has no clout.” The announcement definitely raised many a eyebrow, but Banks went on to make some pretty valid points about the political system.
