DJ Snake And Bipolar Sunshine’s “Middle” Video Is A Star-Studded, Superhero-Themed Affair
DJ Snake is arguably the crossover king of EDM. Since crashing the pop scene in 2013 with evergreen party anthem “Turn Down For What,” the Frenchman has charted with a trio of bone-rattling bangers. “Get Low” finally exploded in the wake of a Furious 7 sync, while “Lean On” ruled the airwaves for most of 2015. Oh and let’s not forget his song-resurrecting remix of AlunaGeorge’s “You Know You Like It.” The 29-year-old’s winning streak now continues with “Middle.”
Featuring the vocals of UK singer/songwriter Bipolar Sunshine (real name Adio Marchant), the hypnotic track went top five in Australia earlier this year and is well on its way to repeating that feat over here. “Middle” is already sitting at number 31 on the Billboard Hot 100 and should climb a lot higher when the just-released video goes viral. Starring Hunger Games actor Josh Hutcherson and Dope star Kiersey Clemons, the superhero-themed visual boasts special effects, romance and more than enough moping to appeal to the forever-alone crowd.
