Calvin Harris Announces New Single With Rihanna Called “This Is What You Came For”

They blew up the airwaves and music charts around the world in 2011 with “We Found Love” (and, to a lesser extent, “Where Have You Been”), but can lightning strike twice for Calvin Harris and Rihanna? The Scottish DJ surprised his Twitter followers last night by revealing that the hit-makers are partnering up once more, for a song called “This Is What You Came For”…and it’s out Friday (April 29)!

Harris is no stranger to popping out one-off songs or singles at least a year ahead of an album release. His hit collaboration with Disciples, “How Deep Is Your Love,” arrived last July, nine months after the release of his most recent album, Motion, with still no mention of a follow-up LP.

And now that Rihanna has re-established herself as queen of the singles chart thanks to a nine-week stint atop the Billboard Hot 100 with “Work,” “This Is What You Came For” should easily follow suit.
