Future And Ciara Will Reportedly Have Joint Custody Of Future Zahir Wilburn
On Monday (May 16), the court denied Ciara‘s request to have sole custody of Future Zahir Wilburn, her son with Future. According to TMZ, the “Body Party” songstress spoke ill of her ex-fiancé to the judge, noting that he was estranged from his son. The court, however, sided with the Atlanta MC and granted him joint custody, which (under California state law) means that the parents will share “the right and responsibility to make decisions” regarding their child.
Up until this point, Future only had limited visitation rights and made his frustrations readily apparent on social media. “This bitch got control problems,” the DS2 rapper tweeted in January. “I gotta go through lawyers to see babyfuture…the fuckery for 15k a month. I jus want babyfuture that’s all.”
Ciara then filed a $15 million defamation suit against Future following those comments.
