Hailey Knox Drops Debut Single "Geeks"
Hailey Knox is hoping to leverage a loyal YouTube following into a music career.

Hailey Knox is the latest artist to make the leap from social media sensation — she is the queen of new live-streaming platform YouNow — to fully-fledged pop star. (Other recent examples include Tori Kelly, Shawn Mendes and Troye Sivan). The 17-year-old dropped her debut single, “Geeks,” in May and immediately won the approval of Meghan Trainor. She now unveils the suitably geeky video to coincide with the release of her debut EP, A Little Awkward.

The New York City native’s first video is set in a coffee shop where people do decidedly uncool (but incredibly fun) things like play boardgames. She simply comes in, plugs in her guitar and belts out “Geeks” flawlessly. We’re excited to premiere the impressive clip below. If you like what you hear, make sure to catch Hailey when she opens for Charlie Puth on his upcoming North American tour, which kicks off September 26 in Dallas, Texas.
