Major Lazer, Justin Bieber & MØ’s “Cold Water”: Watch The Lyric Video

UPDATE (7/21/16): The lyric video is out. Watch it below.

Major Lazer, Justin Bieber and ‘s new collab “Cold Water” is here, with co-writing credits from Ed Sheeran and Benny Blanco. It’s expected to be on Major Lazer’s Peace Is The Mission follow-up, and though the single is slated for a July 22 release, some international markets already heard a premiere.

Noted gift-rejecter Bieber takes the lead for the big team-up, crooning the chivalrous title line “If you feel you’re sinking, I will jump right over into cold, cold water for you,” and he harmonizes with MØ on the chorus. The production is pretty much what you’d expect — elements of dancehall and Euro club music combine not for a rager but for a warm summery groove, much like Bieber’s prior work with Diplo.

Listen to the tinny radio rip below to see if we have ourselves a late entry for song of the summer. (We’ll update with a high-quality stream once it’s available.)

Sorry, got a takedown notice.
