Charlie Puth Drops Selena Gomez-Less “We Don’t Talk Anymore” Video
Selena Gomez doesn’t appear in the video for Charlie Puth collaboration, “We Don’t Talk Anymore.” That’s the bad news. (Selenators are still reeling from the betrayal). Instead, we get a split-screen break-up with a mystery brunette. The hitmaker tries to move on with his life by posing for photo shoots, hanging out with friends and doing karaoke. It’s a little hard to follow (given the format) and might give you a migraine, but at least the soundtrack is good.
“We Don’t Talk Anymore” is the third straight hit from Charlie’s debut album, Nine Track Mind. It reaches a new peak of number 22 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week and should climb a lot higher in the weeks to come when video streams and surging downloads (the duet broke into the iTunes top 10 today) factor into the equation. It’s time to add this to the long list of Song Of The Summer contenders. Watch the Selena-less video up top.
