Mark Ronson Can’t Stop Raving About Lady Gaga’s New Album

Mark Ronson seems to be the primary collaborator on Lady Gaga‘s next album — or, he’s at least the one who’s talking about the project the most. In recent months the producer has dropped tidbits about LG5, like saying they were working on a “very honest, authentic, kind of analog record,” and Tuesday (August 2) he raved about the LP, calling it “incredible.”

“I can’t really get into it too much — I’m not trying to be coy, but I feel like it’s not my place. When the time’s right to tell the story, I feel like she should tell it,” Ronson told Zane Lowe on Beats 1 before adding, “But it’s some of my favorite music I’ve really ever worked on. It’s incredible — I love it.”

He went on: “I can’t wait until you can hear it because the music speaks for itself — some of my favorite musicians of all time are working on it.” That list apparently includes BloodPop and Tame Impala‘s Kevin Parker.

Ronson says they’ve been working on the album for a while. And if Elton John is to be believed, it’ll be a while until it’s out. As in, 2017.
