Shawn Mendes is now two for two, as the teen crooner’s sophomore album Illuminate tops the Billboard 200 this week, a year after his freshman effort, Handwritten, pulled off the same feat. Illuminate sold 121,000 copies and racked up 145,000 in overall units out of the gate, an uptick from the 106,000 sales and 119,000 overall units its predecessor debuted with in April 2015. Mendes’ latest LP arrives on the strength of lead single, “Treat You Better,” the Canadian singer’s second Top 10 US hit (following “Stitches”).

Billboard points out that Mendes now has the distinction of being one of only five artists to land two #1 albums by the age of 18, with the other four being Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Hilary Duff and LeAnn Rimes.
