Zayn Malik Explains How That Taylor Swift ’50 Shades Darker’ Duet Came Together
Zayn Malik stopped by the Elvis Duran Show yesterday (December 13) to discuss his sexless Taylor Swift duet for 50 Shades Darker, “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever.” Zayn says he was working on it with noted Taylor Swift friend Jack Antonoff, and at some point Jack played what they had for her, and she liked it. So Malik hopped on the phone with Swift and they spitballed duet ideas for the track. Soon after, Swift recorded her vocals remotely.
Then Duran joked about how the song gave him a boner, which is upsetting on many levels. Once they mercifully jumped off that topic, Zayn opened up about his upbringing, dealing with fame and his memoir. Watch below.
