Watch the singer perform her version live in concert!

Drake is taking his music down under, as the rapper/singer has announced his first-ever 2015 headlining tour in Australia and New Zealand. To make it even more fun, he is bringing 2 Chainz along for the ride! The performances begin on February 23 in Auckland’s Vector Arena and end on March 5 at Brisbane’s Entertainment Centre. There are only five dates, so hopefully Drake will extend his stay.

The two have collaborated quite a few times already (2012′s “No Lie,” the mega-mashup of “Fuckin’ Problem” and Nothing Was The Same‘s “All Me”), so this tour should come easy to them!

General ticket sales will be available for purchase here, beginning on December 1. View all of the dates after the jump! More »

Nicki Minaj Shows Off Her Body For The “Only” Video Shoot: See All 7 Behind-The-Scenes Photos

Nicki Minaj is holding nothing back for her upcoming video for “Only,” as seen with the revealing photos she recently posted on her Instagram! The rapper took fans behind-the-scenes of the shoot, which also included song collaborators (and YMCMB labelmates) Drake and Lil WayneChris Brown, the tune’s other feature, wasn’t present. It’s too bad, though, his rock-hard abs could’ve added something extra.

For the shoot, Minaj dons a super-seductive mesh bodysuit with only black lingerie underneath. She completed the outfit with intensely-high platform heels and black veil. The men kept their outfits more tame, rocking a simple jeans-and-t shirt combination. More »

Conor Maynard tackled Drake's "Hold On, We're Going Home" for SBTV. Watch!

Real talk: Who among us hasn’t covered Drake‘s “Hold On, We’re Going Home”?

We’ve heard reinterpretations ranging from wholly original to wildly unique from the likes of Conor Maynard, Foxes, Holy Ghost!, Dev Hynes and many, many more…so really, what’s another to add into the mix?

During a concert at the Hammersmith Apollo in London last night, I Never Learn Swedish songstress Lykke Li decided to whip up her very own version of the track. Stripping out the chill, feel-good vibes of the original, Lykke’s take on Drake’s track was suitably dark and haunting, matching the beautifully teary-eyed sound of her latest LP.

Watch Lykke perform her “Hold On, We’re Going Home” cover live up top, and let us know what you think in the comments below.

Bow Down

Nicki Minaj goes straight “Looney Tunes” in the cartoon-inspired lyric video for “Only,” her collaboration with Drake, Lil Wayne and Chris Brown. The visual basically shows that Minaj is the Queen of the World and we should all bow down in her greatness. As for the men? Breezy plays a liutenant, while Drake is a priest and Wayne is a businessman.

“Only” is the latest song from Nicki Minaj’s third album The Pinkprint, set for a December 15 release. It features songs like “Pills N’ Potions,” “Lookin Ass” and the infamous booty romp — “Anaconda.” More »

Future & Drake Team Up On “Never Satisfied”: Listen To The Track

Future and Drake partnered up on their “Never Satisfied” collaboration back in April, as it was part of the Atlanta rapper’s debut album Honest. The LP edit was just under two minutes, so the guys have now released a full version of the tune! It’s murky production (courtesy of Mike WiLL Made It) and subtle auto-tune is perfect for when you’re sulking about your girlfriend in the corner of the club.

“Never Satisfied” will be featured on Mike WiLL Made It’s forthcoming mixtape Ransom, which will include tracks like Big Sean‘s monstrous “Paradise.” Take a listen to the rap collaboration after the jump. More »

Reign and his OVO labelmate Drake kick back on a lush beach in the video for “DnF.” The visual, set on the tropical island of St. Marteen, finds the two bachelors on vacation as they drink beer and dream about sexy ladies. Future is also featured on the song, but he’s nowhere to be found in the video.

“DnF” (or “Drunk n Fuck”) is the latest single off P. Reign’s EP, Dear America (released on September 2). As for Drake, he recently dropped three new songs to keep fans riled up for his upcoming fourth LP — Views From The 6The album is set to be released in Spring 2015, or so the singer/rapper promises. K. Michelle is full of surprises. The R&B diva unveiled her sexy album cover and explained the curious title in a glamorous video but here’s another reason to get excited about AWBAH (or Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart?) It features a song about Drake! The soul siren opened up about the track “Drake Would Love Me” when I interviewed her recently but asked that it be kept under wraps until now.

“The song is about how girls see a photo of Drake or a video and think ‘he would love me if we met’,” K. revealed. She also said that Drizzy has heard the track and gave his seal of approval. The “Love ‘Em All” hitmaker was also invited his co-headlining tour with Lil Wayne when it rolled into Los Angeles recently. The full tracklist of Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart? will hit the interwebs on Monday (November 3). More »

During his stop at Hot 97′s radio show, the rapper said: “He might be in his feelings. And I got all love and respect for Tyga, that’s been my lil’ bro, but my intake is, I’m family oriented — either you in or you out. If you’re out, you’re an outcast to me. Nicki Minaj’s “Only (feat. Chris Brown, Drake & Lil Wayne)”: Review Revue

To be fair, it wasn’t going to be easy for Nicki Minaj to trump her rump-shaking smash “Anaconda.” The hype for a follow-up to her Sir Mix-A-Lot-sampling hit was already at a fever pitch — but did she deliver with a worthy follow-up? Well.

The return-to-roots rap track “Only,” the third single off of the newly pushed-back The Pinkprint — certainly has its fair share of scandal-heavy lyrics worth talking about, as well as a simple, menacing beat courtesy of Dr. Luke. Was it enough to sway the critics — or the Twittersphere? Check out all the reviews, as well as some choice tweets, after the jump. More »

Nicki Minaj Teams Up With Lil Wayne, Drake & Chris Brown For “Only”: Listen

After taking over the charts with her massive, booty-loving single “Anaconda,” Nicki Minaj is back with a follow-up song — “Only.” It finds the rapper going back to her roots, and actually rapping. The opening line immediately tears down any rumors about her and the Young Money crew: “I never f*cked Wayne, I never f*cked Drake/ All my life man f*ck sake/ If I did I would menage with ‘em and let them eat my ass like a cupcake.” Well then!

The rapper continues to talk a lot of smack on the tune, while Chris Brown rushes in with the confident hook. Lil Wayne and Drake also provide explicit verses. It is all laid over a simple but menacing beat with pin-drop sound effects, courtesy of producer Dr. Luke.

“Only” is the third single off Nicki Minaj’s forthcoming third studio LP, The Pinkprint — which has been pushed back to a December 15 release date. Take a listen after the jump. More »
