Nicki Minaj has many personas: Boss Ass Bitch, Roman, Nicki Lewinsky, Ratchet Barb — the list goes on and on! But now, the rapper is trying her hand at modeling, and the results are utterly ***flawless. Minaj is the star of Roberto Cavalli’s Spring/Summer 2015 ad campaign, shot by famed photographer (and Lana Del Rey‘s boyfriendFrancesco Carrozzini.

The “Only” diva flaunts her best poses for the shoot, as she dons flowing summer dresses, bright bodycons and some serious shades. The ad campaign highlights just how pretty Minaj is, and also displays her more woman-like side. The editorial photos come straight after the release of her third LP The Pinkprint, which dropped on December 15. More »

Nicki Minaj‘s anaconda definitely don’t want none of her old yearbook photo’s buns, hun.

The Pinkprint pop-rap diva is kicking the promotional duties into full swing this week with the release of her third LP. Last night, Minaj came to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to chat with the host about her new record.

Together, they discussed the massive success of “Anaconda” and the video’s 300 million YouTube views. (“Between us, it’s 100 million right there!” Jimmy joked, pointing to The Roots.) But the Pinkprint chatter didn’t last for long. Jimmy busted out a screenshot of an Instagram that Beyoncé posted, which included a yearbook photo of Mizz Minaj, who was visibly embarrassed. But fear not! Jimmy busted out his own (hilarious) yearbook photos. Stars: They’re just like us! More »

Nicki Minaj’s ‘The Pinkprint’: Review Revue

2014's Best Pop Singles
2014's Best Pop Singles
Idolator editors select their Top 20 pop singles of 2014.

With her latest studio album The Pinkprint (out this week), Nicki Minaj has laid out the blue — err, pinkprint for all the female rappers who come after her. (Her words, not ours!) Led by her Dr. Luke slow-burner “Pills N Potions” and the all-out A$$ attack of “Anaconda,” critics weren’t quite sure what to expect from Minaj’s third outing.

Here at Idolator, we gave the album 4 out of 5 stars, declaring it her best album: “Rap and pop are no longer how she relays her bipolar tendencies. Instead, somewhat miraculously, the now-comatose Nicki shows that these two genres, with their warring gendered expectations (pop scanning as ‘feminine,’ rap as ‘masculine’) can peacefully co-exist in this lonely, gently whirring universe that exists here, her first breakup album.” But what did critics around the world have to say about Nicki’s newest record?

Donning an all-black outfit, minimal make-up and layers of bling, Minaj poured her heart out as she spit the emotional lyrics.

Nicki Minaj’s ‘The Pinkprint’: Album Review

Let’s get one thing straight: Nicki Minaj has yet to release a bad album. 2010′s Pink Friday reintroduced the firebrand as a role model and best friend, with featherlight pop-rap songs about real love and hard work, particularly as a female. With 2012′s Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, she made us take notice yet again, kickstarting the release with some of the most high-octane rap of her career, and then speeding off with Eurodance hooks louder and messier than LMFAO‘s. Both releases were overlong and at times repetitive. What angered most detractors, though, was that each time she committed herself to yet another full-length, she refused to do what others wanted of her: a big-budget version of her 2009 breakout mixtape Beam Me Up Scotty, or whimsically explicit songs that often referenced rap classics by males.

With that out of the way, and with hopes of a straightforward rap album mostly dashed, The Pinkprint (out today, ) isn’t a dud, either. In fact, it’s Nicki’s best album. Rap and pop are no longer how she relays her bipolar tendencies. Instead, somewhat miraculously, the now-comatose Nicki shows that these two genres, with their warring gendered expectations (pop scanning as “feminine,” rap as “masculine”) can peacefully co-exist in this lonely, gently whirring universe that exists here, her first breakup album. That works in her favor. As unexciting as her first two introspective singles (the Dr. Luke-produced “Pills N Potions,” the Skylar Grey-featuring “Bed of Lies”) were, The Pinkprint shines because it forces us to reckon with an emotion not often associated with the cagey Queen of Rap: vulnerability. Nicki Minaj Is Selling A Nude Calendar With Deluxe Editions Of ‘The Pinkprint’: See The Outrageous Butt Pic

Nicki Minaj Shows Off Her Boobs (Again)
Nicki Minaj Shows Off Her Boobs (Again)
Nicki Minaj makes Instagram a more interesting place with her outrageous boob and butt pics.

K. Michelle needs to call a lawyer because Nicki Minaj ruthlessly jacked her innovative approach to music marketing. The R&B diva memorably gave away a signed, nude poster with copies of new LP Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart?, but the femcee takes it a step further by including a sexy, signed poster and a soft-porn calendar. And a hoodie and a t-shirt, depending on which deluxe bundle of The Pinkprint you order.

The “Anaconda” hitmaker bares her famous butt on the cover of the calendar, so I can only imagine what’s inside. If you’re hoping to buy the collector’s item for your home or office without shelling out the extra cash for Nicki’s new album, tough luck. It’s only available as part of the deluxe edition at Best Buy or in the 32-year-old’s online store with merchandise bundles starting at $100. See the full image after the jump. More »

Nicki Minaj And Beyonce's "Feelin' Myself"
Nicki Minaj And Beyonce's "Feelin' Myself"
The two ladies get cocky on 'The Pinkprint' track!

The lyric video for Nicki Minaj‘s “Only” single sparked a lot of political controversy, but the official version has taken a very different route! The six-minute long clip is an S&M fest that stars the rap diva, Drake and Lil Wayne. In what is probably her sexiest video yet, Minaj plays a fiery dominatrix dressed in all black lingerie as she leads an underground sex dungeon. Chris Brown also makes a creepy, almost possessed cameo — complete with amber-colored contacts.

If you’ve been a little naughty, this video will definitely make you want a spanking — in the best way possible! Minaj’s forthcoming LP, The Pinkprint — which has tracks like the Meek Mill-assisted “Big Daddy,” her “Feelin’ Myself” collaboration with Beyonce, “The Crying Game” featuring Jessie WareAll Things Go,” “Bed Of Lies” and more — is set to be released on December 15.  More »

Nicki And Bey Team Up For "Feelin' Myself"
Nicki Minaj's 'Pinkprint' era is her sexiest yet, and the album's tracks definitely reflect that!

Ruh roh: The Pinkprint has sprung a leak! With less than a week to go, Nicki Minaj‘s highly anticipated third studio LP is slowly but surely making its way onto the Internet, including “Feelin’ Myself,” her major collabo with “7/11″ diva, Beyoncé.

Of course, Nicki’s no stranger to bringing in talented songstresses to provide memorable hooks on her tracks — there’s “Bed Of Lies” with Skylar Grey, for instance! And with “Crying Game,” she’s just done it again, this time thanks to the mesmerizing, soulful sounds of Jessie Ware. More »
