Snoop Dogg first teased his new, Pharrell-produced album in September, with a snippet of a song dedicated to a strain of medical marijuana. This week, during a panel at the CES Expo in Las Vegas, the gangster rap superstar revealed of what to expect: The album, titled Bush, will be out in mid-March 2015. And its lead single is called “Peaches N Cream,” not to be mistaken for the 2001 112 hit of the same name.

Bush will be released on Pharrell’s record label, i am OTHER, in conjunction with Columbia Records. (Snoop Dogg inked a deal with the label back in October.) The new music will also feature frequent collaborator Charlie Wilson and Stevie Wonder. Plus, it reunites Snoop with Pharrell himself, who have worked together for over a decade now on hits like 2002′s “From tha Chuuurch to da Palace,” 2003′s “Beautiful” and 2004′s “Drop It Like It’s Hot.”

Barbra Streisand Announces New Duets LP ‘Partners’ Featuring John Legend, Stevie Wonder & Elvis (!)

Barbra Streisand has been on Instagram for less than a week and she’s already putting it to good use. The veteran diva announced her upcoming LP Partners on the social media platform this morning (August 11) and named an impressive list of duet partners that includes John Legend, Stevie Wonder, Babyface, John Mayer, Michael Buble, Billy Joel, Josh Groban, her son Jason Gould and even Elvis Presley from beyond the grave!

The 72-year-old previously released a compilation of duets in 2002 (titled Duets, funnily enough) but Partners appears to be comprised of original material, so don’t be surprised if Barbra adds to her incredible tally of 32 top 10 entries on the Billboard 200. Expect details on the tracklist and lead single to emerge in the next few days. In the meantime, stay glued to Babs’ Insta! More »

Daft Punk To Perform With Stevie Wonder, Pharrell & Nile Rodgers At Grammys

When Daft Punk were announced as one of the performers at this year’s Grammy Awards, the ceremony’s executive producer said they’d be doing “a collaborative and celebratory stage performance” — the key word being “collaborative.” And so, for their first live performance of the Random Access Memories era, it’s fitting that Pharrell and Nile Rodgers are taking part, but in a nice surprise, the legendary Stevie Wonder will also be joining them for the occasion.

This won’t be the only big collaboration of the night. Pink and Nate Ruess are teaming up for the network debut of their smash “Just Give Me A Reason,” while poor Kendrick Lamar has been paired with Imagine Dragons, because the Grammys are apparently still afraid to just let rap have its momentMore »

Stevie Wonder Covers John Lennon’s “Imagine” At Global Citizen Festival: Watch

Imagine That
Stevie Wonder covered John Lennon‘s “Imagine” at this year’s Global Citizen Festival, in efforts to advocate stricter gun control laws. “Can you believe that they let blind people carry guns? Come on,” he said. The crowd laughed as the blind singer mimed a misfire.

The one-day festival, on September 28 at New York’s Central Park, is held in efforts to end extreme poverty worldwide — so it’s a slightly different cause than what Wonder championed during his headlining set. Still, as the enduring musician explained why he performs “Imagine,” he showed why his protest cover song was relevant. More »

Last night, Hill posted a note on her Facebook page to “extend a sincere thank you” to people who had written letters to the judge on her behalf. She mentioned 30 people by name — including Alicia Keys and Stevie Wonder — though it’s unclear if these pleas (or Hill’s $900,000 zero-hour payment) factored into the judge’s ruling. More »

Grammy Awards: 8 Moments Time May Have Forgotten, But We Didn’t

jay-z-paul-mccartney-linkin-park
So, This Happened
The 55th Annual Grammy Awards are just hours away, and like the rest of you pop fanatics out there, we’re impatiently counting down every second until showtime. With a lineup that includes Justin Timberlake, Frank Ocean and Taylor Swift, as well as exciting collaborations from Ed Sheeran and Elton John, plus Bruno Mars, Sting and Rihanna, 2013 is looking like it will be quite a memorable year for the Grammys.

But (you knew there had to be a but, right?), if we’ve learned anything from the last 54 years, it’s that no matter how seemingly strange the paired performance, or how many pop stars are paying tribute to an icon, or who bum rushes the stage (we’re looking at you, Mr. “Soy Bomb” and Ol’ Dirty Bastard), the mind tends to forget these occasions. We’ve set out to fix that! Your BFFs at Idolator have rounded up eight Grammy moments so memorable, you wonder how they ever escaped from the clutches of your memory.

Give your mind a refresher starting above, with that time that Jay-Z performed with Linkin Park and Sir Paul McCartney at the 48th Annual Grammys. (Please note: Jay is wearing a John Lennon t-shirt.)
