Stuck On Repeat: Prince Makes His Case
In this cover of Joni Mitchell’s 1971 devotional ode “A Case Of You”–taken from the just-released A Tribute To Joni Mitchell album–Prince nearly out-mellows the original, trading Mitchell’s coffee-shop guitars for some low-key piano-playing. We’re not sure if this is the same version that wound up on Prince’s rare One Nite Alone… collection that was released a few years back, but either way, we’re grateful to hear it now:
