After a few sleepy weeks, tomorrow’s new-release schedule looks like it has something for everyone–pop devotees can pick up the new album from “Irreplaceable” scribe Ne-Yo, indie types can check out releases from Feist and Electrelane, bopping kidz can get their hands on new material from a High School Musical alum and a live album fro the show’s touring cast, and Tori Amos devotees can see just what those five personalities of hers are blogging on about.

After the jump, we give you the lowdown on the latest albums from Ne-Yo, Dinosaur Jr, Corbin Bleu, and Miranda Lambert, as well as the Spider-Man 3 soundtrack.

Ne-Yo, Because Of You The artist: R & B prodigy who’s as fierce as the kiss-off anthems he pens. The sound: Fine, fine soul that jacks Prince’s style on more than one occasion. The first in line: If the radio stations we flipped through this weekend are any indication, it’ll be a race to the cash registers.

Dinosaur Jr, Beyond The artist: Indie-rock heroes, reunited at last. The sound: Like 1987, only a little bit grayer. The first in line: The Web Sheriff. Haha, just kidding!

Corbin Bleu, Another Side The artist: High School Musical guy graduates to the solo-career stage. The sound: Justin Timberlite: High-energy pop that seems tailor-made for YouTube dance contests. The first in line: Your local middle school.

Miranda Lambert, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend The artist: The lone breakout star in the galaxy of Nashville Star hopefuls. The sound: Feisty (but not Feist-y) pickin’ and poppin’. The first in line: Women who think Carrie Underwood didn’t go far enough.

Various Artists, Spider-Man 3 The artists: Indie-in-genre-name-only’s heavy hitters … and Chubby Checker. The sound: Like elbo.ws, only with more Oohlas. The first in line: Chad Kroeger, as he tries to figure out what could have caused the movie’s producers to not invite Nickelback this time around.
