Brandon Flowers Strips Down The Killers’ “When You Were Young”
Not that we don’t love Brandon Flowers’ solo material, but it’s always a treat to hear The Killers’ frontman sing his band’s songs. When we saw him perform his 50-minute solo set at L.A.’s Troubadour, he killed the Day & Age track “Losing Touch”, and last night at New York’s Highline Ballroom, Flowers treated the crowd with a lovely, stripped down acoustic version of “When You Were Young.” And everyone packed in the venue was more than happy to sing along.
