Jonas Brothers Perform “First Time” & “Pom Poms” At The O Music Awards: Watch
The Jonas Brothers are back — not just with their lead single “Pom Poms,” but now with the lush and excellent “First Time,” too — and when they opened the 2013 O Music Awards, they performed both songs. What a coup! It’s great, except that the likably jaunty “Pom Poms” no longer seems quite as good now that “First Time” has, for all intents and purposes, ruined it by being so very excellent. Oh well!
The acoustic version of “First Time” isn’t as spectacular, since that propulsive electro beat gets stripped away to just a plucky guitar backing, but yikes, that chorus melody still just demolishes it. Watch it up top, then see their rendition of “Pom Poms” after the jump.
